Overview of Ex-Servicemen I Card Registration

The Ex-Servicemen Identity Card (ESM ID) number is a unique number assigned to an ex-serviceman. The ESM ID number is part of the ESM ID card, which is issued to ex-servicemen who have not previously been issued an ID card.

How to apply for an ESM ID card? 

• Fill out the application form
• Upload the required documents
• Submit the application
• The department will process the application
• The applicant will be notified once the service is delivered

How to apply for a duplicate ESM ID card? 

• File an FIR at the nearest police station
• After one month, obtain an endorsement from the police station
• Approach the ZSWO with the FIR and an application

Documents required for an ESM ID card application 

• Copy of discharge book or service record

• Copy of pension payment order

• Copy of release order and gratuity sanction letter

• Residential proof

• No objection certificate if the applicant is from another state or district
